- You need to create an account with this site. Before you do, read the course Privacy Policy – it has some bearing on what username you select. Once you’ve read the Privacy Policy, click here to create an account.
- Create a Gmail Account. On the first day, I’ll explain why we’re doing this. If you missed the first day or would like a reminder, you can read this – it explains some of the reasons why I have you create this account.
- Familiarize yourself with Google Docs. Read my guide on How to Submit Papers Using Google Documents.
- Fill out the Student Info Form (IMPORTANT: Do this ASAP after you’ve created your accounts)

- Sign into Gmail and add me as a Contact in the Chat widget on the left. My username is “andycullison” This will give you an additional way to contact me.
- Firefox is the recommended browser for this course. If you have problems accessing any of the course material, I will ask that you try it on Firefox, before we start trouble-shooting. I recommend that you download and install Firefox now.
- Bookmark http://www.andrewcullison.com/courses in your web browser.
You will be able to access the course through Angel, but there will be no need to. If Angel goes down, access the course through your bookmark (or simply commit the URL to memory).
